Alejandro Burset was born on February 14th. 1970 in the City of Buenos Aires. At the age of 11 he moved to Reconquista, Santa Fe, where he lived all his youth. By 1990 he returned to Buenos Aires in order to work as sports journalist. In 1995 he began working for the magazines Caras and Noticias. Five months later and while on a business trip, he began to experiment with photography and since then he exclusively dedicates to it. He lived in Italy for a year as independent correspondent for both magazines. In 1999 he prints his first book “Primer Ensayo” (First Draft). As from March 2001, he began working for the magzine “Para Ti”, where he starts to work for the fashion world. In 2002 he moved to Mexico City, where he worked as advertising and fashion photographer. In 2003 he publishes his second book “Claroscuro” (Lights and Shadows). In 2008, he publishes his third book “Caminando en la Sombra” (Walking in the Shadow).
