Cathlin is a Photographer and Director based in Austin, Texas, who loves telling stories with her camera.
Her portraits feel like they’re asking a beautiful, wordless question about life — or cracking an inside joke.
A former User Experience Designer, she brings a brand-savvy mind to every shoot and usually ends up best friends with the art director.
Her work captures the in-between moments — unguarded, a little weird, and deeply human. She’s currently making her first short film, The Oldest, filming in Iowa.
Cathlin grew up on a lake in Iowa, fell in love with Texas in the ’90s, and calls both home. Her friends call her brave and scrappy. She calls them overdue for an adventure.
