As a photographer and director, Nate blends commercial and editorial approaches to create compelling imagery for regional and national brands, advertising agencies, and editorial clients. Specializing in capturing real people – athletes, musicians, business leaders – Nate documents their lives through a combination of portrait and documentary-style lifestyle photography.
Driven by a deep curiosity, Nate thrives on learning personal stories and understanding those he photographs. With degrees in Geology and Studio Art from Carleton College, Nate has always embraced bringing divergent ideas together.
Nate has also received multiple awards from Communication Arts, American Photography, and the American Photographic Artists.
