
Meg Smith is a native to the Napa Valley and grew up surrounded by the celebration of food and wine and the arts.
She works with an array of Michelin-star chefs, most notably Chef Thomas Keller of the French Laundry. She was the official photographer for Team USA at the Bocuse d’Or, the worlds largest culinary competition, held in Lyon, France biannually. Meg worked intimately with the team and traveled with them to Lyon on multiple occasions. Led by Chef Keller, the US placed both silver and gold medals.
Capturing unfussy elegance with authenticity and sensitivity is the hallmark of her work. Meg was honored to have photographed the first same-sex wedding fashion campaign for The Men’s Wearhouse (Tailored Brands).
Her third cookbook project, Gather, with over 300 of her images, was awarded the 2021 Independent Publisher Cookbook Award.
